25 Helpful Photoshop Tips and Tricks

Photoshop is a tremendously intricate and layered program, and there is a multitude of ways to accomplish any one task — some more power and efficient than others. This awesome video will give you 25 helpful tips and tricks for working in Photoshop.

Coming to you from Jamie Windsor, this great video will show you 25 tips and tricks to work more efficiently and accomplish more in Photoshop. Of the tips, perhaps my favorite is using the expanded shadows and highlights controls in the standard dialogue. Adjusting the shadows and highlights is generally my most common global adjustment (something I do on 99% of my images), but at the same time, I do not always care for the exact range of tones these sliders apply to, sometimes leaving the results only in the realm of what I want. And of course, there are more advanced ways to zero in on the exact tones you would like to adjust, but sometimes, I just want to give an image a quick edit and move on to the next in the set, which is when those extra controls come in handy. Check out the video above for lots of helpful tips and tricks from Windsor.

What a guy. The only problem is he makes other people who produce tip videos look inept. Great tips, great pace, great presentation, all done calmly with a sense of humour ‘ love to sit on rocks’ indeed. He is the undisputed King of the tips.

Once again, just when you think you know it all, there are tips and tricks that no one else seems to be showing us. Well done!
