30 Photoshop Techniques Every Photographer Should Know

If you're working as a photographer or retoucher, there are certain Photoshop techniques you just have to know. This amazing set of tutorials walks you through 30 such skills and explains why they're important and how to use them.

Photoshop is a beast, full of capabilities and at least five ways to accomplish any one task. As such, it can be very daunting to tackle the application when you're first starting out. Luckily, Nathaniel Dodson from tutvid created this awesome set of tutorials that covers 30 essential techniques. You'll learn how to get rid of flyaway hairs, make selections, dodging and burning, color correction, and much more. I've been working with Photoshop for years, and there was still a ton in here for me to learn (after all, I don't think one ever stops learning it). You can watch all four parts of the series below.

Altogether, the set of techniques should be useful for almost any genre of photography and should greatly increase both your capabilities and efficiency. And of course, when you're ready to move onto more advanced or specialized material, you can also check out the Fstoppers Store for our tutorials on numerous photography topics.
