5 Helpful Tips for Faster Editing in Lightroom

A lot of us spend a pretty large chunk of time working in Lightroom, and any tricks or techniques for working more efficiently can really add up in the long run. This helpful video will show you five great tips for working more quickly and efficiently in Lightroom.

Coming to you from Lucy Martin, this excellent video details five tips for working more quickly in Lightroom. Lightroom is where most photographers spend the majority of their time both cataloging and performing global (and some local) edits, and as such, it is a good idea to find any place (no matter how small) you can to make your workflow more efficient. One important thing is to work on memorizing keyboard shortcuts. Lightroom definitely has a ton of these available, and it can be a bit overwhelming to remember them all at first, but once you get them in your fingers, you will likely find your speed in the program increasing notably. If you ever forget a shortcut, just press Cmd/Ctrl + /, and Lightroom will show you all the available shortcuts for whatever module you are currently working in. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Martin.
