Everything You Need to Know About the HSL Panel in Lightroom

The HSL panel is by far one of the most powerful ways to edit your photos in Lightroom and to develop a signature style. If you are a bit unsure of how to use the HSL panel in Lightroom, this fantastic video tutorial will get you up and running in no time.

Coming to you from Saurav Sinha, this helpful video tutorial will show you everything you need to know about using the HSL panel in Lightroom. HSL stands for "hue, saturation, and luminance." This panel gives you a very precise way to change the global colors in an image, which is a powerful method for doing things like making grass pop, darkening the blue in the sky for a more dramatic effect, or creating a more filmic look. Be sure not to overlook the targeted adjustment tool either. This allows you to easily zero in on tricky colors that are a combination of multiple fundamental hues. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Sinha.
