Five Helpful Tips and Techniques for Wacom Tablets

Few accessories can have an impact on your post-processing workflow like a pen tablet can, which is why I recommend all photographers pick one up for their work. This excellent video will show you five tips and techniques to help you get the most out of your Wacom pen tablet.

Coming to you from Aaron Nace with Phlearn, this awesome video will show you five helpful tricks and techniques for use with your Wacom tablet. If you have not used a Wacom tablet before, it is hard to overstate just how useful they are to your workflow. They allow you to use a natural drawing motion for working on photos, and they also include more advanced features over a standard mouse, such as pressure sensitivity, which you can link to various parameters, such as brush size and opacity. There is certainly a learning curve when it comes to using a tablet. You will likely have to spend about a week or so getting used to how it works, but if you power through, you will probably never want to go back to a mouse for editing. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Nace.

If this is your first Phlearn video to watch, his premium videos are even better. Totally worth the cost.

Thanks for this Aaron. I used an older technique from you to create snow in a photo a couple of years ago, but this method you have now looks a little less complicated.
