How to Edit a Landscape Image Entirely in Lightroom

You might think that for more involved and nuanced edits, you have to head over to Photoshop. And while you can certainly accomplish more there, you might be surprised by just how much you can get done using Lightroom alone, and this great video will show you how.

While I have no problem using Photoshop, I personally like to stay in Lightroom unless I absolutely have to switch over, and I've found you can push the application quite a bit more than you might have initially thought. In particular, while Lightroom is known mostly for global edits, you can shape the light quite a bit using the built-in adjustment brushes, and that technique works quite well for natural scenery. In addition, you can take advantage of both the HSL sliders and split toning panels to take the color toning of your image in any direction you please and really add your own personal style to it. Give the video above a watch for the full breakdown of the process; you might be pleasantly surprised by how much you can do in Lightroom.
