How to Remove Almost Anything Using the Clone Stamp Tool

Photoshop has numerous tools at its disposal that can perform a multitude of advanced functions, many of which are highly automated. But those automatic functions don't always perform perfectly, and sometimes, you'll need to fall back on a tried and true method: the Clone Stamp tool. This great video will show you exactly what you need to know about the powerful tool.

Coming to you from Aaron Nace with Phlearn, this helpful video will show you everything you need to know for getting the most out of the Clone Stamp tool in Photoshop. Photoshop has a ton of tools that can automatically fill in an area where you'd like to replace something in the original image, but depending on the context, those tools can have a bit of trouble, particularly if the surrounding area is especially complex or you're trying to match a repeating texture. When that fails, the old Clone Stamp tool can almost always get the job done. Many people don't ever dive into the tool's customization options, but the tool offers quite a bit more capability beside the basic functions, and you can generally use it to replace almost anything. Check out the video above for more.
