1.91 - "Needs Work" 

After a lot of rain, I went out to the prairie to find the water almost reaching the road. While walking out over the water on a boardwalk, the steady breeze was creating mesmerizing ripples on the water's surface. I gazed out for at least 30 seconds taking it all in before realizing I should try capturing the feeling. When I look at this image, I feel the breeze and I'm once again mesmerized by the ripples. I know it's not the typical "landscape" photo, but after living in central Florida for 24 years this is as good as landscapes get.

There is an interesting rhythm to this shot. I can almost hear the water move. Great shot.

I really like this, it's the simplicity, and the texture.
