1.96 - "Needs Work"

About a month after purchasing our 2015 MINI JCW Roadster I was out on the country roads surrounding Donald Oregon. Theres an old barn that I'd photographed several times previously, it worked perfectly as a backdrop as it was mostly neutral. Yes I'd played with the vehicles color as it's really Chili Red, not a candy apple red, however it was an experiment and I believe it came out well.

To start off with, I like the juxtaposition between the car and the barn. It's a nice composition. It could use a bit more straightening and maybe a tighter crop on the left. The thing that gets me though is that it looks as if the clarity slider was cranked way up, so it looks crunchy.

I think what would really look cool is to go back at night, and do some light painting with this. But as is, it has a lot of potential.

Thanks Dustin...
I appreciate your suggestions, kinda difficult to go back and do the night shot though as we now live in Arizona 1400 miles distant. But I
ll keep that idea for the future
