This image was taken at a local photography meet up in downtown Los Angeles, these photography meets usually start anywhere from 5 p.m. until 3 a.m. constantly moving around the city through the night as the police or fire department forces us to change locations. These events have a lot of things going on from fire breathers to a small car show on the side and even a DJ who has all his equipment consolidated into a shopping cart powered by a generator. The biggest fear or reason many people have for not wanting to attend is that they feel they will have the same shot as everyone else or they won't get anytime in to shoot with any model, that is not the case with these events models and performers come out because they want to shoot. Many models take great directions for posing and from a street photographer's perspective you can just people watch and wait for that perfect shot to take form.
