A riff on the Avengers: Infinity War poster. ATRAE (hence the “Atraers” thing) is a Spanish association of audiovisual translators, and I, as a member, organized this massive photomontage as an homage to the people in the association. Each person had to be photographed following my instructions (lighting, framing, pose); the results varied wildly (some of them had just their mobile phone, others had access to professional cameras), and then I integrated all their photos in the poster.

The custom lettering was modeled, textured and rendered in Blender 3D. The translator of this very movie is The Hulk in the poster (and his dog takes the place of Rocket), there’s also the woman who has been translating ‘The Simpson’s’ since the beginning (she plays Spider-Gal in the poster), and another noteworthy Spanish translator plays Thanos here (I’m Vision, on the top left corner). Some characters are left intentionally untouched, as we didn’t want to whitewash them.
