We shot this early morning at a race. The body is made of 5 pieces and I took a frame each time a part would be removed to make sure I would have enough options.
These cars are not easy to come by mostly because they require a lot of labor to transport, take off the trailer and so on. Away from the tracks, 99% of the time they are put apart with pieces being replaced, maintained or shipped out to a manufacturer. That is really where the difficulty is, to get it together, not the shoot. I drove 11 hours to go shoot it while their shop is only 2 hours from me.

this is pretty awesome, I shoot drag racing as well and this may be something I have to try soon. Love the concept! Bravo!
