Every two weeks a couple of novice monks take turns shaving each other's heads as part of monastic life in Myanmar.
As part of an assignment for a travel publication I lived and worked in several Buddhist monasteries that provide a safe place for some of Myanmar's over one million orphans.
The look in their faces spoke volumes to me.
