The ubiquitous guyed tower shot at night and lit only by its own flashing lights. The camera was about a 1000 feet away from the top of the tower which made it a challenge to get good detail of the structure.
In the field at night you can hardly see the tower except for a few flashing lights. Surprisingly with the right exposure, the entire tower lights up.

This photo is a reshoot of a similar one that was reviewed in the critique the community contest - "Technology". Both Patrick and Lee gave it 3 but they had several items they didn't like. I've reshot with those comments in mind. Patrick had commented that it was a shot they hadn't seen before so that is why I reshot and submited it for "Unique".
I think of, 2001: A Space Odyssey, like an illustrated poster in a good way. The colors really does it, Cliff.
What I don't like is that it's not straight. Would really enjoy it a lot more if all the lines lined up, so to speak. Not that hard taking care of that in post, if you didn't succeed in camera that is.
