2.12 - "Needs Work"

This building (the white one) is named: "De balk van Beel." It's designed by famous Belgian architect Beel and it stands in Leuven next to the canal. This shot is taken 30min past sunset to get that beautiful twilight ambient and artificial light combination. I used a luminosity mask to blend two exposures, one for the sky and the lights and one for everything else, then a whole lot of photoshop to remove color casts and properly balance the light. This wasn't shot for an assignment, I shot this to build my portfolio/ improve my work.

Taken on my Nikon d3300 in combination with the nikkor 18-55mm lens.

Nice shot, its a bummer the lights are all off.

Thanks, yeah, it's an apartment building, so not all the residents were home I guess
