2.65 - "Solid" 

This is at the well known Salk Institute. I knew goin into this that it had been shot a million times but I wanted to get a shot for myself anyways. The Salk is tricky because they are strict about photography and you can't use any type of tripod. The was shot at golden hour handheld using the Sony A7II and Rokinon 24mm tilt shift. I took a 3 shot bracketed exposure (which is interesting to do handheld) and blended those in post. This image did get a sky replacement. The light from the original sky was basically the same but with no clouds and just a slightly boring gradiant. I added this sky from Mike Kelleys sky replacement tutorial to add the clouds and texture to the sky to make it more dynamic.

Nice shot. Hard to use a tilt shift handheld for sure.

I think this image is way too harshly rated. I love this.
