3.31 - "Solid"

Train yard in Ventspils, Latvia. Key to this type of shots is to find a vantage point, most often a bridge, and, of course, a location with at least some amount of trains and cars. Then it is important to exclude lamps and projectors from the frame (if possible), as they will always overpower main subjects. Focus stacking is often required, as I strive for the maximum sharpness at F/5.6 or F/8.0 (not in this photo though, taken with my old D750). Sometimes luminosity blending is required too. If I am lucky, my 85 mm will be enough, or any other primes I have. If not, then my trusty and quite sharp Nikkor 70-200 F/4 will come to the rescue.
Actually, this is not a random photo; I am specializing in the Industrial Fine Art genre and have a portfolio of such photographs at https://www.industrialfineart.eu, and also a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/IndustrialFineArtPhotography with nearly 10K of followers.

Nice image.
Plenty of detail and the image is always giving.
Start at one leading line to travel through the shot them start again on another leading line.
The monochrome suits this image down to the ground.
Well done
