I went to grab my gear and rushed back out. It was a calm, overcast morning with nice ambient lighting. I'd wait until he was ready to run out and call him, but just enough that he doesn't come running over to me. Meanwhile my D5600 was on a tripod snapping away in time-lapse mode with manual focus.
