My wife and I had traveled to Pentagon City Virginia for a burial ceremony at Arlington cemetery. I made sure to get a hotel room with a terrace hoping to get some shots of the National Mall across the Potomac river. The view ended up being more road than Mall but at twilight it got more interesting.
Shot with my entry level DSLR and a kit lens (my best gear could not be risked at the airport). This is a composite of ten RAW files, some at fifteen seconds.
A sad but wonderful trip.
