On a business trip in Tacoma, WA I had planned on taking a vacation right after to enjoy some of the Pacific Northwest; I had my gear packed and I was ready for the work part of the trip to be over to finally go out and explore what the area had to offer. To my surprise the first photo op happened the moment I walked into my hotel room as I was greeted by the view of Mt Rainier.
I was a little disappointed that during my week-long stay I hadn't seen a cloud to make the view a little more "interesting", but I knew I could get something out of this anyway. I honestly ended up liking the clean, simple composition with pastel hues.
