Coming to you from Anthony Morganti, this great review takes a look at the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art lens. I have had this lens for about a year now, and it has quickly become my favorite portrait lens. Sigma's lens design philosophy seems to be forgetting about any emphasis on portability to promote strong optical quality. The 105mm is a great example of that philosophy. Coming in at almost four pounds, it is quite the hefty piece of glass, and that can be a bit hard to work with at times, especially if you are someone who values being able to work with a quick and light kit. I was expecting to see some nice bokeh (maybe it was the title Bokeh Monster) but unfortunately it's mostly Anthony sitting behind a desk, or a model with a black backdrop :).
