Elinchrom ELB 1200 Availability and Trade-In Offer Announced

Announced earlier this year, the brand new Elinchrom ELB 1200 is finally about to be available on the market. The Swiss flash manufacturer has just published all the details regarding their premier adventure light for photographers, including its release date and the trade-in offer for Ranger RX owners.

Replacing the aging but yet still robust and powerful Ranger RX, the ELB 1200 will be available by the end of August 2017. It comes with a brand new user interface based on something ELC users will find somewhat similar and, and a lighter form factor at just 9.3 pounds. Following the trace of the ELB 400, the ELB 1200 will be compatible with three different heads. The Action meant to freeze movement at x-sync, the HS optimized for Hi-Sync, and the Pro which is a hybrid between the two.

Ranger RX owners will be glad to learn that they will be able to upgrade to the new Elinchrom ELB 1200 for a more attractive price. No matter if your Ranger RX is still working or not, you can trade in your unit and benefit of a $1,000 reduction on an ELB 1200 To Go or To Roll set, bringing the price of a kit as low as $2,499. For more details regarding this offer, make sure to contact your local distributor.

What i'd really like from Elinchrom is a portable strobe similar to Profoto's B1. Wouldn't that be a nice? :)
