Fujifilm recently released the X100V, the latest iteration in their popular line of fixed lens compact cameras. With a bevy of improvements, it looks to be an intriguing option for lots of photographers. This great video takes a first look at the new camera.
Coming to you from Ted Forbes with The Art of Photography, this excellent video takes a look at the new Fujifilm X100V. The new camera comes with lots of improvements over the already great X100F. Most notable are the new two-way tilting touchscreen, a new lens design (still a 23mm f/2), four-stop internal ND filter, 26.1-megapixel X-Trans 4 sensor, 4K video at 30 fps, and the hybrid viewfinder offering the user a choice of the .52x OVF with parallax-correcting frame lines or the 3.69-million-dot OLED EVF. Personally, the hybrid viewfinder was always my favorite part of my X100S. It was such a unique experience that really brought back a lot of the joy and intrigue of photography for me and made me want to carry my camera everywhere with me. Three generations later, the X100V seems to have evolved into a versatile and powerful option for many photographers. Check out the video above for Forbes' full thoughts.
