Just How Good Is the Image Quality of the Canon EOS R5?

It has now been two years since Canon got into the full frame mirrorless camera market, and they have gone from camera bodies in the middle of the pack to class-leading cameras that have reinvigorated their brand. How far have their sensor capabilities and image quality come in that time? This great video comparison takes a look at how the new EOS R5 stacks up against the EOS R.

Coming to you from Alex Barrera, this excellent video comparison takes a look at the image quality in the new Canon EOS R5 and how it holds up against the company's original full frame mirrorless camera, the EOS R. The EOS R was no slouch, with a 30.4-megapixel sensor similar to the one in the 5D Mark IV, a sensor whose colors I was always very fond of. But the EOS R5 brings with it a 45-megapixel sensor offering 50% more resolution along with two years of image quality advancements, and it looks to be one of Canon's best yet (if not its outright best). No doubt, you will likely be happy with the files from either camera, but if you are having trouble choosing, check out the video above for the full rundown from Barrera.
