Since the announcement of the Panasonic GH5S, the whole YouTube, videography, and photography community has been debating which one was better in a low-light situation. The GH5S was designed by Panasonic in an effort to create a better camera for video than the GH5 already was. However, the Sony a7R III and a7S II aren’t too bad either and deciding which one to get is no easy task. Every one of them is a competent camera, and their low-light performances are quite something.
In the video above, Bloom took the three cameras — Sony a7R III, Sony a7S II, and Panasonic GH5s — and went out to shoot a similar scene with each one of them so that we could judge which one performs best.
