Portable and Versatile: A Review of the DJI Pocket 2

DJI's Osmo Pocket gimbal was a great device, offering capable performance in a tiny package that could go anywhere with ease. The Pocket 2 comes with a bevy of new features and improvements over the original model, and this fantastic video review takes a look at what you can expect from it in practice. 

Coming to you from The Hybrid Shooter, this great video takes a look at the new DJI Pocket 2 gimbal. The Pocket 2 comes with lots of new features and improvements over the original, including:

  • Increased sensor size of 1/1.7" with 64-megapixel resolution
  • 20mm equivalent focal length lens
  • 4K video at up to 60 fps and 100 Mb/s
  • Four directional stereo microphones with DJI Matrix Stereo audio zoom (two more microphones over the original version) with ability to follow camera's zoom and direction
  • 3-axis stabilized gimbal 
  • 8x zoom for photos, 4x for 1080p video (and audio), 2x for 4K video
  • ActiveTrack 3.0
  • Panorama, time-lapse, motion-lapse, and hyper-lapse modes
  • Built-in AI-editing capabilities
  • Hybrid AF 2.0
  • Rechargeable battery with up to 140 minutes of recording time
  • Weight of approximately 4 oz.

No doubt, the Pocket 2 looks to be a worthy successor to the original that offers a lot of capability in an extremely portable package. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
