It also comes with an extra-low dispersion element for reduced chromatic aberrations and increased clarity, two aspherical elements for reduced spherical aberrations and distortion and improved sharpness, Ultra Multi-Coating for reduced flares and ghosting and increased contrast, a linear STM autofocus motor with manual override, a non-rotating front element, and a rounded nine-blade diaphragm for smoother bokeh. Altogether, the 45mm f/1.8 looks to be an affordable option with a versatile focal length and aperture that offers sharp images in a small and portable package.
