2020 has been quite the year for camera gear, with groundbreaking cameras like the Canon EOS R5 and highly impressive lenses coming to the market. 2021 is shaping up to be another exciting year for gear enthusiasts, and this interesting video discusses what we might see.
Coming to you from Tony & Chelsea Northrup, this great video discusses the kind of cameras we might see in 2021. While we can expect a lot of interesting cameras from a variety of companies (especially considering the upcoming Olympics), I am personally most excited for Canon's EOS R1 camera, which will be their flagship mirrorless camera. The EOS R5 is so good that it is easy to forget that it actually occupies the equivalent space of the 5D in Canon's mirrorless lineup, which means we still have yet to see the 1D equivalent camera. With the insane specs of the EOS R5, it will be very interesting to see how Canon plans to distinguish the upcoming R1, but one thing is for sure: however they plan to do it, it is going to be one heck of a camera, and I can't wait to try one out.
