2nd attempt at Outdoor Fashion Shoot with Natural Light

So, When I first started shooting a few years ago, I failed miserably at shooting outdoors with Natural light. I could never get the subject in focus...Couldn't really get a handle on exposure and to be completely frank I truly sucked haha. I got pretty good at shooting in studio though so I pretty much stuck to that.

A few weeks ago I decided to venture back outside. It was a beautiful sunny day and I had an amazing model so I figured why not.

Here are the fruits of my labor! C&C welcomed!

Amazing photos!

Thanks Dan! Much appreciated!

I feel like I'm where you wrote about haha. Natural light being kind of tricky so you take it indoors and control the variables. These are great though!

Thanks Jordan! Yeah, it's def tricky! I failed so bad when I first started out! Once you're able to control the variables and get a handle on that...you can take that and implement it outdoors!

I love the processing, and especially love the colors on the 1st one. Not sure how I feel on the shadow being soft in 1 image and then hard in the next 2. If I would to feature them in a series I'd ensure shadows are consistently hard or soft. I'm not a huge fan of harsh darkness in the eye sockets but they look consistent with the rest of the shadows. I'm not a huge fan of the facial expression on the first one it feels more angry than the other 2 as more neutral.
