How to Put Your Equipment to Good Use During Quarantine

YouTuber Gerald Undone shared a video chock full of workout tips for photographers who are practicing social distancing to slow the outbreak of COVID-19.

The coronavirus outbreak has shut businesses down far and wide, and we're all feeling the pain. During a time when our world is being rocked by a super-contagious and deadly virus, a little lighthearted humor is much needed. Gerald enlisted the help of other photographers and videographers to share their favorite at-home workout tips using their equipment.

Here are some of our favorites:

  1. Camera Bag Push-Up: the perfect workout for your chest and triceps. Customize resistance by adding or removing equipment to your liking.
  2. Backdrop Shoulder Exercise: You're not using your backdrops for the time being, so why not use the sheer weight of them for this versatile exercise? Julie Whelan exemplifies perfect form when doing so. Don't have a backdrop roll available? Use a tripod. No excuses!
  3. C-Stand and Sandbag Deadlift: Do you even lift, bro? Add two evenly weighted sandbags to either side of your C-stand for the perfect loaded barbell. Add optional lunges for a leg workout.

How are you staying active while practicing social distancing? How many of the tips and tricks seen in the video will you be taking advantage of this week?
