5 Mistakes Made by Landscape Photographers

Landscape photography takes a combination of technical skill, creative vision, and the ability to work in and with a wide range of conditions. There are some common mistakes all landscape photographers make at one point or another, and this fantastic video tutorial details five of them and what you can do to fix them or avoid them in the first place.

Coming to you from Perea Photography, this excellent video tutorial discusses five common mistakes landscape photographers make and how to fix them or avoid them entirely. Perhaps the mistake I was guilty of the longest was simply not using all the focal lengths available to me. Most landscape photographers opt for wide angle lenses simply because they allow you to get most of the scene in the frame, but sometimes, that is not the only composition available to you; in fact, it might not be the optimal one. A longer focal length can simplify an overly busy frame and can also allow to get more shots from the same scene. Check out the video above for the full rundown form Perea.
