5 Things No One Tells You About Being a Landscape Photographer

Landscape photography is a bit of a different genre: there is not as clear a path to being a pro as in other areas, and there are many different ways to engage with it. If you are wondering about the genre, this interesting video discusses five things no one really tells you about being a landscape photographer and offers some great tips and advice in the process.

Coming to you from fototripper, this informative video discusses five things you will not normally hear about being a landscape photographer. One thing that I think often gets overlooked is just how physically demanding and exhausting landscape photography can be. Chasing the best light often means getting up at ridiculous hours and hiking many miles through rugged terrain while carrying a variety of equipment, sometimes in rather unpleasant elements that you will then have to wait for hours in. On top of that, you will often be eating things like protein bars instead of hot meals. It will definitely test your devotion to the pursuit. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
