How to Find Better Landscape Photos

When it comes to landscape photography, you can't control the elements in the frame like you can in just about any other genre, which, of course, means you need to be able to find elegant and compelling images instead of building them. If you want to improve your landscape photos, check out this fantastic video tutorial that will show you three helpful tips for finding better landscape photos.

Coming to you from Andrew Marr, this excellent video tutorial will show you three great tips for finding better landscape images. One tip that I have always found particularly helpful is turning your attention to individual elements of the landscape instead of using a wide angle lens. Trying to balance a busy frame when shooting with a wide angle lens can be a really difficult thing, and it can make it hard for the viewer to know how to digest everything they are seeing. On the other hand, using a longer focal length to pick out individual elements can make for stronger, more direct, and more compelling photos. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Marr.
