What Gear Do You Actually Need for Landscape Photography?

When it comes to photography gear, what do you actually need to get the image and what is probably a waste of time buying? That can be a tough question to answer, or is it? With the photography market pushing everything at you from all corners, it all depends on what you are hoping to achieve with your landscape photography.

If you are just starting out and finances allow, more than likely, you'll be purchasing everything you possibly can and saving for the next piece of equipment you think you require to enhance your images. We've all been there, deciding on what's the best camera to choose, the best set of filters that are crucial to getting the shot, the tripod, the shutter release; the list is endless. But what do we actually need, and what is a total waste of money?

Once you are more seasoned and the amount of equipment starts to become less important in your workflow, then it's worth considering a few key pieces of gear that will help improve your photography and speed up the process. In this latest video from Mads Peter Iversen, he narrows down what you need most for landscape photography and the main pieces of photography gear that will make the biggest difference to your photos without breaking the bank.
