How to Create Window Light in Studio

It might seem strange to want to mimic natural window light in studio, but the beauty of having a controlled space is that you can create that light however you want, whenever you want. If you would like to make yourself a more versatile lighting pro, check out this great video tutorial that will show you how to create the look of natural window light in a studio.

Coming to you from Ashley Boring with Westcott Lighting, this excellent video tutorial will show you how to create the look of window light in studio. The look of natural light streaming through a window is an elegant, timeless look and one that even non-photographers are likely to recognize and appreciate. The beauty of being able to create it artificially, however, is that you are not stuck waiting for the right time of day and weather, and you can bump up the power to keep your ISO down as well. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Boring.
