3 Powerful Editing Tools in Lightroom

It used to be that Lightroom was for cataloging and basic edits and Photoshop was reserved for the more serious work, but in the last few iterations, the former has made some major strides. You can now do some impressively complex edits without ever leaving Lightroom. This helpful video tutorial will show you three advanced tools in Lightroom that will make your edits more efficient and help you create better images.

Coming to you from Pye Jirsa with Adorama TV, this great video tutorial will show you three of Lightroom's newer and most useful editing tools. I am particularly fond of the new AI selection features. I often shoot in a concert hall with a beautiful glass wall and garden and trees behind the stage, but since it is normally quite dark for performances, I end up with a very bright sky behind the stage. Because of the trees, it has usually been too tedious to mask around all the leaves to fix the sky, especially when I typically am working on several dozen images. The new AI selection tools take care of it in just a few seconds however, not only making my workflow far more efficient but also improving the quality of the final result. You should definitely check out the new tools if you haven't yet. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Jirsa.
