How To Create Studio Quality Lighting Under A Variety Of Conditions

Starting TODAY creativeLIVE will stream a 3-day lightweight location workshop featuring well-known photographer, Kevin Kubota. Learn to create studio quality lighting under almost any condition. With lightweight, affordable, and portable lighting tools, Kevin will teach you to create beautiful portrait lighting in a variety of environments from typical urban locations to more challenging situations. He'll teach you how to do it using speedlights and smaller, battery-powered lights with simple and affordable accessories to modify and control the light. After every shoot, Kevin will download and show how he quickly processes and enhances his images in Lightroom and Photoshop before even leaving the scene!

This workshop starts September 20 - Saturday September 22. It is currently streaming live right now for free. Luckily, if you want to watch this workshop later they only costs $99 to download later.

Just going through this guy's portfolio, and also taking the four shots above into consideration makes me ask what business he has running a workshop? Just like all the other free CreativeLIVE events you post, the people running them should be attending them, rather than hosting them.

Can't stand going to a photographer's website and seeing a bunch of crap he's selling, and having to hunt for a link to his actual work.

When you look at the spectacular quality of work posted at fstoppers(Rarely these days, it seems, this stuff doesn't even come close.

wow... agreed.  Mediocre at best for someone doing it full-time...
