Adobe has announced that it has created a fund of $1 million to support artists, offering grants of up to $5,000 in order to make your project happen. Applications to the Creative Residency Community Fund are now open.
Each year, Adobe runs its Creative Residency program, offering a year of support to a small number of artists who are early in their careers. A resident receives a salary, mentorship, and other support. This year, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Adobe has decided to do things a little differently.
Rather than supporting a handful of individuals, Adobe will be accepting applications from a huge number of creatives. As well as the lump sum of between $500 and $5,000, recipients will receive a full Creative Cloud membership and career guidance workshops. Applications can submit their own project proposals, or can opt to be considered for one of Adobe's own commissions.
Eligibility for the funds is very broad: you simply need to be a 18 or above, a creator of visual work, and speak either good English or Japanese.

Ah yes from the goodness of their monopolistic hearts, they are just buying marketing material for a pittance. "... grant license agreement which gives Adobe non-exclusive rights to use it for: Marketing... In-app... Education: in our tutorials and workshops"
