Fro Knows Photo Says 2016 Wasn't The Problem. You Are.

Jared Polin, better known as Fro Knows Photo, has a thing or two to say when it comes to those complaining about 2016. Touching on several points I strongly agree with, the man with the marvelous hair rants about why 2016 isn’t to blame for Trump, nor is it to blame for the recent death of Princess Leia.

In my opinion, there’s more than ever to look forward to in the upcoming year. The way it pans out for you is entirely your decision. You can either be proactive and feel good about your efforts or you can buy in to the drama fueled by the media and hide behind the safety of a keyboard. Heck, you can even do nothing at all. My point is, the future isn't written in stone.

Enough BITCHING people. It’s not the year that’s the problem--it’s you. It’s your mentality; it’s your complaining and inability to take action. The point of this RANT is to urge you to stop bitching and complaining and wishing the days away because you think something didn’t go well. Stand up for the stuff you believe in, take action, do something but most of all STOP BITCHING and COMPLAINING.

Usually I can't stand this dude but he's absolutely right about this.

Most of 2016 kinda sucked. Up until November.

Yeah....F*&ck off.

I hate to be rude like that, but 2016 is just a frame of reference, and there are some things during that time frame that sucked for a lot of people. The nasty politics and deaths of some of our favorite artists just seemed to capture and keep that feeling alive.

Whining on the internet about people whining... that's something even lower.

The irony is, if you ignore the things that actually don't affect you (celebrity deaths, politics, etc), and focus on the things that you really experienced (travel, work, relationships, etc), I bet 2016 isn't that much different than other years. I actually found 2016 to be pretty awesome. Not as great as 2014 but better than 2015.

Ditto...except for politics. Like it or not it affects us all.

.

Unfortunately, you'd lose that bet.

This year sucked professionally and personally for a lot of people in my circle of friends... and for me, as well. It's just the way it is. This year sucked in a strange way that I can't quite describe. It seems everyone I know and care about had a set back of some kind.

Add to that the political climate (which affects everyone-- there are studies about the stress it creates in people), and a lot of people had a stressful year.

Not everyone had a bad year, but there are a lot of people who did, and they have a right to say it was stressful to them, or their year sucked. Fro can stuff it.

And that's the danger of assuming you know what everyone SHOULD feel-- or even how they are feeling-- you come across as an arrogant jerk who is incredibly dismissive of other people's lives.

Thank you, James. I wrote something similar, then felt bad for unloading. You stated it much better than I could have.

I was thinking the same thing, just the other day, but my medium of expression is the written word, not video: http://www.dallasdahms.xyz/death/

Flo bitches about people bitching and reminds everyone he prefers RAW to jpeg.

The worst part of 2016 is that this guy still gets noticed.

Yup, I can't watch his videos and I'm not about to start anytime soon.
I vote with my ¢¢¢, so NO CLICKY for "Fro Knows" how to irritate!
How's that for some 2016 last minute bitchin !?!

Paul Joseph Watson riffs on the same theme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17lUTNdkOuk

It's funny to see people spoilt so much by life... Try living in East Europe in the 80s or 90s, any year would be much worse than what those people think is the worst year ever :D In the last 2 generations we had the most bloody world war on one hand, on the other communism dictatorship just after it, and civil war just after that... Way to to, USA, you get the worst shit of us all :D

After my heart attack in 2012, every following year is good to me. Stuff happens but I'm still alive.

It's healthy to say 2016 sucked. Because it gives you a frame to say, "that sucked" rather than "this sucks". It means you can wipe it clean and start over with 2017.

Or you can rant on the internet.

Without watching it (as celebrity photo-bloggers are typically annoying) i would say he should stick to what he knows and leave the life coaching to those good at it.
