A place of solitude, Fifth Falls is a journey through time where the eroded igneous rocks tell their stories. The numerous small dark caves, just big enough to not be able to see all the way inside, provide an eerie, primitive atmosphere alongside the overpowering sound of rushing water. This is especially true when daylight is quickly vanishing, as it was here during the time I photographed these secluded waters.
