Mara

The goddess Mara is a supernatural creature that rises above the traditional notions of "good" and "evil."
She is the opposite of light. Life on the Earth would be impossible without she. She is involved in keeping the balance. The ancient Slavs believed that without death there can't be life, and death isn't the end, but it is a new beginning.
