Pie Eyed Spirits Hero Bottle

Here's a hero shot that I produced for a client. What started as a solid standalone bottle shot on black turned into a multi-faceted composite image.

I also created a tutorial with Fstoppers on how I shot the standalone bottle. If you haven't seen it, you can check it out here: https://fstoppers.com/commercial/how-photograph-and-composite-commercial...

Bryan this is a great image with a great tutorial. Would love to learn how you shot, composed and did post on the additional elements (the smoke/sparks, fragments and apple etc). Did you ever post anything online about that? Love the work you do!

Thanks Alan! No, I did not film a follow up video as to how I photographed and composited the other elements on this hero bottle. However, I did just release a full length tutorial on product photography called The Hero Shot. I worked extremely hard on this project and if you're into product photography, I think you'll dig it: https://fstoppers.com/product/hero-shot-how-light-and-composite-product-...

Lovely image, and great tutorial. the only thing that bugs me is that the apple slices lack seeds, which makes them look a bit plastic-y. Was this done intentionally?
