I don't know how noone else has commented on this. It's amazing <3 Your colors are like music to my eyeballs. Are you completely in Photoshop for these portfolio pieces? Or is there anything else you're using like Capture One or anything?

Thanks so much, Paul. And right?! This is honestly my favorite photo in my portfolio. And I’ve tried for the past couple years now to get one similar at this race but haven’t managed it yet. Thanks again. As far as post goes- it’s sort of a half half with capture one and photoshop. I got it as far as I could in capture one and then the rest was photoshop. That’s how my workflow for most things is- and although generally the images look a fair bit different at the end than they did in capture one, I use the capture one edits to set myself up for what I know I want to do after. It’s like a symbiosis :)

Great photo. I imagined it was taken from a sniper position somewhere in the back but then I saw the image details, 27mm. You must have been in the middle of this pushing crowd, that's a pretty sharp and well composed picture for shooting from such a position.

Hey! Yeah man, I was right in the thick of it. Ive been to this horse race 6 times now and i always try to get as in the middle of it as possible because the real experience of it is afterwards when all the pandemonium takes over. its seriously the craziest thing I've ever witnessed. thanks a lot for the kind words.
