Spaceship Earth

This photograph was taken of the Spaceship Earth attraction at Epcot Center in Orlando Florida. This is a daytime long exposure shot, which was achieved by using a 10-Stop ND filter attached to a Sigma 35 F1.4 Art lens; the filter enriched the look of the fast-moving clouds. The image was taken with a Canon 5D Mark iii and the settings were 30sec exposure, F7.1 at ISO400. The most challenging part of this shot was dealing with a very crowded location but thankfully I was able to situate myself in a semi-isolated area where I waited for the lighting to harmonize with the jagged shapes of the structure. The image was converted to black and white in LR and additional editing was performed in PS.
