It was just about perfect songbird photography conditions yesterday except I didn't appreciate the chilliness. Had to take a break in my vehicle to escape it for a bit. Lots of warblers are here now, and I saw Yellows, Redstarts, a Northern Perula, Yellowthroats, Wilson's, Nashville, and this Blue-winged within the past couple days. Possibly more but I'm not quick at identifying all the varieties and sometimes it's just a brief glance as they move from one thicket to the next.
Captured with the Canon EOS-1D X and Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM +1.4x III on May 18, 2019 at 3:20 PM. I used One Shot AF mode and multi-segment metering. Auto WB setting.
Raw processed in DPP4. NR, sharpening, and crop from vertical original in PS.
