While the male Redstarts have no sense of personal boundaries and will come say hello at the very closest perch to you they can find, sometimes only a couple feet away, the females hang back and are ever so slightly less fidgety bouncing from branch to branch. Well, my lens can't focus a couple feet away so that's why I'm sharing the female here 😉.
