Hot Diggity Dog

Model: Eric J. Reed

I’ve had only one person tell me that my series of table images sucks and that I ‘need to go back’ to my previous style of portraits, which I’m guessing doesn’t involve food. I am sure that there are others that may feel the same way, but they are polite and respect that I am making art for myself, images that I enjoy seeing. I know I don’t need to explain what drives me to take these food inspired images, but I will. For no other reason than, THEY ARE FUN!

I often struggle with the notion that these images will look stupid and chicken out of a lot of themes that I am too nervous to try for that reason. But sometimes, I don’t care and go for it, hoping for the best… and at worst, no presentable images, but a lot of laughs during the process.

The way I look at it, if it's not for a paying client, do what makes you happy. Personally I like them. Your lighting is awesome.
