I bought a 100mm macro lens last December, but have been really hesitant to use it over my 85mm f/1.8 lens. I think it's because I was so comfortable with my 85mm lens. Yesterday however I decided to use my 100mm lens instead of the 85mm, and to be honest I think it's absolutely my new favorite lens. The best part about it? I picked it up used for only $200 at a pawn shop. I don't think they knew what they had, because most camera stores won't let this thing go for less than $400 used. Anyways, this was shot in natural light with a silver reflector positioned underneath her face for fill light.
