Common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis)

Common kingfisher is ma number one bird to watch and photograph, i could spend days and days watching it dive into water and catch fish. Its actually rare and protefcted bird here in Slovenia, to find it where he is usually i spent three years...i actually cried when i first saw him. Now that i know where he hunts and lives it's not hard to get a photos of him. But nature is unpredictible and it's not allways easy to get something you have in mind
