It wasn’t the plan. When my friend and I drove to Sparks Lake we thought we were going to be shooting with the setting sun towards Mt. Bachelor, and it was going to be epic. However, that’s not what side of the lake we were on. Because of a total misunderstanding of what mountains were in all those iconic Sparks Lake images, we made do with the unsensational lighting.
I edited this image to enhance a little color, but really we didn’t have much to work with. Those at Kando that went out in the early morning for sunrise easily got the best shots of this place.
